Good news for Bilt Rewards members: Dec. 1 is another Bilt Rent Day.
As on previous Rent Days, you can snag double points on Rent Day for nonrent purchases, book a Bilt Neighborhood Dining experience and play the “Rent Free” game. Bilt is also offering triple points on purchases at the end of November that normally earn 1 point per dollar, an Amazon points redemption bonus, and Bilt Neighborhood Comedy experiences to celebrate this Rent Day.
Here’s what you need to know about the December Bilt Rent Day promotions.
Triple Bilt points on purchases that normally earn 1 point per dollar
You’ll earn triple Bilt Points between Nov. 26 at 9 a.m. EST and Dec. 1 at 2:59 a.m. EST when you use your Bilt Mastercard® (see rates and fees) to make nonrent purchases that typically earn 1 point per dollar.
However, you’ll only earn up to 1,000 bonus points on eligible purchases. Note that to earn points (see rewards and benefits), you must use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times per statement period.

Amazon points redemption bonus
You can typically redeem Bilt points to pay at checkout when shopping at Amazon at a rate of 0.7 cents per point. This redemption rate is much lower than our November 2024 valuation of Bilt points at 2.05 cents each, so we don’t normally recommend redeeming Bilt points for Amazon purchases.
However, the math becomes a little more appealing this Rent Day due to a status-based Amazon points redemption bonus if you link (or have previously linked) your Bilt Mastercard. This bonus, which is for up to $5,000 in equivalent spending between Nov. 26 at 9 a.m. EST and Dec. 2 at 2:59 p.m. EST, varies based on your Bilt Rewards status as follows:
- Blue members: 25% bonus, meaning you’ll get 0.84 cents per point
- Silver members: 50% bonus, meaning you’ll get 1.05 cents per point
- Gold members: 75% bonus, meaning you’ll get 1.225 cents per point
- Platinum members: 100% bonus, meaning you’ll get 1.4 cents per point
Even if you have Bilt Platinum status, you’ll only get 1.4 cents per point when you redeem Bilt points during checkout. So, you’ll only want to take advantage of this opportunity if you usually redeem your Bilt points at a lower rate.

Extra Bilt points on nonrent purchases
As on previous Bilt Rent Days, you’ll earn double points from Dec. 1 at midnight EST to Dec. 2 at 2:59 a.m. EST when you use your Bilt Mastercard (see rates and fees) to make nonrent purchases. You’ll earn as follows for purchases each Rent Day:
- Dining: 6 points per dollar
- Travel: 4 points per dollar
- Other purchases (excluding rent): 2 points per dollar
- Rent: 1 point per dollar (up to 100,000 points in a calendar year)
You must use the card five times per statement period to earn points (see rewards and benefits). However, you can only earn up to 1,000 bonus points on purchases with your Bilt Mastercard each Rent Day.

‘Rent Free’ game
In August 2023, Bilt launched a new way to win free rent for a month (up to $2,500): the “Rent Free” game show. Bilt has since offered the “Rent Free” game show each Rent Day, with a new creator or personality playing each month. This month, rising comedy star and impressionist Matt Friend is the guest.
You’ll earn points when you pick a top-three answer, when you correctly rank that answer, and when the celebrity guest picks the same answer as you. You must visit the Bilt app to play the game by Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. EST. Then, return to the app after Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. EST to see your score.
The 10 top-scoring players will win free rent for a month (up to $2,500), and the next 1,000 top-scoring members will earn Bilt points. If you tie with another Bilt member, the tie will be broken based on who played the game first.

Bilt Neighborhood Dining and Comedy experiences
Bilt is continuing its Neighborhood Dining series this Rent Day. On the first of each month, Bilt offers experiences that include a curated tasting menu and a selection of premium cocktails at select Bilt Neighborhood Dining restaurants.
To celebrate December Rent Day, Bilt is also offering Neighborhood Comedy experiences in select cities. Unlike the Neighborhood Dining experiences, the Neighborhood Comedy experiences aren’t all on Dec 1. These experiences offer Bilt members exclusive access to shows by comedian and impressionist Matt Friend at venues that don’t normally host comedy shows. Members can enjoy drinks and light bites alongside an intimate comedy show.
These Neighborhood Dining and Comedy experiences start at $75 or 5,000 Bilt points per person. Reservations for December Rent Day Neighborhood experiences open within the Bilt app and website Nov. 27 at 11:50 a.m. EST for Platinum members and noon EST for other members.

Bilt members can reserve their rides through the Bilt app and enjoy complimentary bikes in special Rent Day-themed classes at more than 50 locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings open Nov. 27 at 10:50 a.m. EST for Platinum members and 10 minutes later for other members. You may face a $30 fee if you don’t show up or cancel after Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. local time.
