Editor’s note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

From low-budget to ultra-luxury, there’s a Hilton property for everyone. The global Hilton portfolio includes almost 25 brands and over 7,500 hotels.

When it comes to cobranded credit cards, American Express offers Hilton travelers a variety of choices in that arena, too. There are four Amex Hilton credit cards — three personal cards and one business one. You’ll receive an array of perks to make your next stay more rewarding and enjoyable.

Do note that Amex refreshed the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card and Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card in October 2023. These cards have revamped benefits and increased annual fees. The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card was revamped in March.

This is your last chance to snag one of these elevated welcome offers on the three personal cards, which end July 31.

Let’s look at the current bonuses on these Hilton credit cards.

The information for the Hilton Aspire Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card

Here’s what to know about the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass.

THE POINTS GUY

Current welcome offer

Earn an elevated 130,000 bonus points and a free night reward after spending $3,000 in purchases within the first six months of card membership. This offer ends July 31.

TPG’s July 2024 valuations peg Hilton points at 0.6 cents each, making the bonus points worth $780 — plus the hundreds of dollars of potential value from the free night reward, depending on which property you use it at. If you can get a lot of value out of the free night, this could be the highest offer we’ve ever seen on this card.

Additional benefits

With this card, you’ll earn 12 points per dollar spent directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio, 6 points per dollar at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. restaurants and U.S. gas stations, 4 points per dollar on U.S. online retail purchases, and 3 points per dollar on other eligible purchases. Terms apply.

The card comes with some nice perks, including a free night reward after you spend $15,000 on eligible purchases each calendar year, up to $200 in statement credits each year (up to $50 each quarter) on eligible Hilton purchases, complimentary Hilton Gold status and a path to Hilton Diamond status through spending $40,000 in eligible purchases per calendar year and National Car Rental® Emerald Club Executive® status*. Enrollment is required for select benefits.

*Enrollment in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Program is required

Hilton Honors American Express Card

Here’s what to know about the Hilton Honors American Express.

THE POINTS GUY

Current welcome offer

Earn 70,000 bonus points and a free night reward after spending $2,000 in purchases in the first six months of card membership. This offer ends July 31.

The regular Hilton Amex card has no annual fee (see rates and fees), so unsurprisingly, you’ll earn fewer points with this welcome offer.

According to TPG’s July 2024 valuations, the bonus points are worth $420 — plus the value of the free night reward. That makes it among the highest offers we’ve seen on this card.

Additional benefits

With this card, you’ll earn 7 points per dollar spent directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio, 5 points per dollar spent on eligible purchases on dining at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets and U.S. gas stations and 3 points per dollar on all other eligible purchases. Terms apply.

This entry-level card also offers automatic Hilton Honors Silver status (with an upgrade to Gold when you spend $20,000 on eligible purchases in a calendar year) and no foreign transaction fees (see rates and fees) — also a rarity for a card with no annual fee. Enrollment is required for select benefits.

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card

Here’s what to know about the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire, Hilton’s top-tier credit card.

THE POINTS GUY

Current welcome offer

Earn 175,000 Hilton Honors bonus points after spending $6,000 on purchases on the card within your first six months of card membership. This offer ends July 31.

According to TPG’s July 2024 valuations, these 175,000 points are worth $1,050. Now is a good time to apply for this card, as the welcome offer is close to the highest it’s ever been (just 5,000 points short.)

This card has a $550 annual fee (see rates and fees).

Additional benefits

The Hilton Aspire Card is Hilton’s premium credit card, loaded with perks. You’ll enjoy automatic Hilton Honors Diamond status, which includes complimentary breakfast (or a daily food and beverage credit in the U.S.), bonus points and space-available room upgrades on each stay.

You also get up to $200 in annual statement credits on eligible flight purchases, up to $400 in annual statement credits for purchases made at Hilton portfolio hotels, and up to $189 in statement credits for a Clear Plus membership (subject to auto-renewal). Enrollment is required in advance for some benefits.

Earn 130,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 on purchases in the first six months of card membership.

This bonus is worth $780 based on TPG’s July 2024 valuations — exceptional value for a card with a $195 annual fee (see rates and fees).

The card has some solid benefits like earning up to $240 in statement credits (up to $60 credit each quarter for purchases made directly with Hilton properties per calendar year), a complimentary Hilton Gold elite status, and the same spending-based pathway to earning Hilton Diamond status and National Car Rental® Emerald Club Executive® status*. Bottom line

The points haul on these cards could lead to some amazing Hilton redemptions, including luxury stays at resorts like the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa or ski-friendly destinations like the Hilton DoubleTree in Highline Vail.

Remember that Amex has a “one per lifetime” policy for earning welcome offers, but a pop-up window should let you know if you’re not eligible for a bonus before you submit your application. This is your last chance to get one of the elevated welcome offers on the personal cards, as they end on July 31.
